Toilet repairs
Most leaking toilets are easily fixed, and a lot of the parts for most cisterns are universal — which is why this is usually one of the cheapest jobs we do, and one of the most worthwhile.
Repair before replace
A toilet that runs on after flushing, won't flush properly, or weeps at the base is almost always a worn washer or a failed inlet valve. It is not a dead toilet, and it does not need replacing.
Because cistern parts are largely universal across most brands, we carry what fits the majority of them, so the repair happens on the first visit rather than after a trip to a supplier.
Worth fixing sooner than most things
A toilet that runs continuously is the single biggest quiet water waster in a house — far more than a dripping tap, because it never stops and nobody hears it. If the bowl has a permanent ripple in it, or you can hear the cistern refilling when nobody has used it, that is water you are paying for.
When the cistern has had it
If the cistern is cracked, or the body is genuinely past repair, a new base cistern goes in for a fixed price with a new toilet seat included.
