Taps & tapware
Tap repairs
A single leaking tap can waste up to 24,000 litres of water a year. Leaking taps also create problems in homes and workplaces alike, which is why it is worth servicing them before water damage occurs.

What a complete tap service involves
The majority of leaking taps can be completely serviced rather than replaced. We change the jumper washer, the O-rings and the body washers, re-thread and re-grease the spindle, and reseat the seat.
That last part is the one that gets skipped. A tap that has been dripping for months has worn a groove into the seat, and a new washer pressed onto a damaged seat will start dripping again within weeks. Reseating it is why a proper service lasts.
New tapware, when the tap is past servicing
Our plumbers carry a range of quality tapware to suit any bathroom, kitchen or laundry, so you can choose from the range on the van and save yourself the inconvenience of shopping around.
We fit Ram tapware. It is manufactured in Australia, the company has seventy years in the trade, and they back it with a 15-year warranty on their tapware and plumbing products. Ram also rate their tapware for pressures up to 1000 kPa, where most manufacturers stop at 500 kPa — which matters on a mains-pressure system.
